I was looking through a collection of Neoclassical architectural engravings of the early 19th century when I created this terrarium design. This was the era when the first terrariums were invented, known then as the Wardian case. I was particularly captivated by the small garden temples found in European and British gardens, so I decided to make a tabletop version inspired by them.
